Menopause. For many women at or approaching middle age, the word is one they’d rather not think about, let alone experience. It represents the loss of their youth and fertility, as well as the onset of quite a few uncomfortable symptoms. From hot flashes to night sweats to mood swings, the number of potential symptoms is higher than thirty, and these can combine in very frustrating ways. For example, the combination of fatigue, night sweats, and insomnia would be enough to drive anyone up the wall and can make it extraordinarily difficult to deal with the other symptoms menopause can bring.
